Established in 2005, with roots in the timber trade stretching back decades, Pendle Hardwoods is a leading supplier of commercially imported temperate and tropical hardwoods to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Having moved away from the pack sales side of the industry, we are now in a position to offer over 12 different hardwood species, with full, half, or mixed container loads tailored to your requirements.
We source direct from trusted mills worldwide – including North America, Europe, and the Far East – supporting consistent supply and competitive pricing through long-term supplier partnerships.
Delivery can be arranged CIF to a number of UK ports, or destuffed and delivered direct to your business – whichever is simplest for your operation.
Quality and responsibility sit at the heart of what we do. We import directly from reputable mills and regularly visit suppliers to assess working environments.

Pendle can offer containers delivered CIF to UK ports such as Liverpool, London Gateway and many International ports, or we can destuff containers and deliver direct to you from the port—whatever is easiest for you. We use a trusted handling company and a variety of haulage companies to ensure your order reaches you in a timely manner.

We Supply:
Delivery
We work with a trusted haulage company to provide next day, national and international deliveries. With a range of equipment from 7.5 tonne vehicles to 42 tonne artic lorries that have hi-abb and tail lift options, we ensure that substantial quantities and specifications can be delivered to our customers quickly, efficiently and as regularly as required.
The Environment
At Pendle Hardwoods we are conscious of all environmental issues related to the timber products that we supply. The company is fully committed to playing their part in eradicating illegal logging and poor forest management, as set out in the European Union Timber Regulations (EUTR). We are also diligently working towards being fully compliant with the incoming European Union Deforestation Regulations (EUDR), by the stated deadline for SMEs of June 2027.
We are members of Timber Development UK (TDUK), and we adhere strictly to the supply chain due diligence guidelines set out in TDUK’s ‘Responsible Purchasing Policy’ (RPP). In addition to our strict due diligence process, we can also offer hardwoods from either 3rd party verified legal sources or chain of custody certified sources (FSC & PEFC) and FLEGT licenced timber (currently only from Indonesia).
